Due to the high demand of user requirements and application development, computer programming uses two approaches to solving automation related problems; Computer Assisted Coding and Alone Coder. They both require analyzing certain problems and providing it with appropriate code to solve the problem, however, even though they are both approach to solving problems using codes, they have their similarities and differences.

Computer Assisted Coding is the use of technology applications to speed up the coding system to minimize backlogs by enhancing productivity. On the other hand, while Alone coding source code that is completely original and not a derivative work based on the Application Software's source code or the source code of any other piece of software that belongs to its licensee.

One major difference between computer Assistance coding and alone coder is the productivity and accuracy; computer assisted coding depends on software technology called Natural Language Processing to extract data in text form and converts it to code while alone coder contains source codes that are originally created by the programmer without derivatives.

Another difference is accuracy, computer assisted coding, coding is converted based on information gathered which may be encoded inaccurately, but with alone coder, the programmer ensures the algorithm is clearly stated thereby, giving the right approach to the code.

Furthermore, computer assisted coding is fast because information gathering and encoding are done using technology gathering, Alone coder is a slow process because information gathering and coding are done by the programmer.

While, computer assisted coding and alone coder have differences, they also have their similarities, they both adhere to the same programming concept and both are useful tools to automate processes.
